Cyprus has five hotels where a private pool villa is confirmed and bookable across the island. Anassa sits on the Akamas Peninsula in Latchi with private pool suites overlooking Chrysochou Bay. AMARA and Parklane deliver beachfront cabanas and villa compounds in Limassol. Columbia Beach Resort's Eagle's Nest suite sits above Pissouri Bay with direct sea views. Almyra completes the set in Paphos, a five-minute walk from the harbour. All five are on Booking.com.

Anassa Hotel
Anassa Hotel sits at the northern end of Cyprus's Paphos District, on a secluded hillside above the fishing harbour of Latchi and the start of the Akamas National Park. The Two Bedroom Suite With Pool is the private pool category: a two-bedroom configuration with a private pool on the terrace, sea views across Chrysochou Bay, and marble floors throughout. The pool is accessed directly from the suite terrace and is not visible from or connected to the resort's main pool areas. The two-bedroom requirement means the configuration suits couples wanting space or two couples traveling together rather than a compact couple's suite.
The resort is one of the most consistently reviewed properties in Cyprus regardless of accommodation category. Three swimming pools, four restaurants (including the outdoor Helios with panoramic sea views), and a full spa are on-site. The architecture follows a Cycladic-influenced white-washed aesthetic, and the property retains a quieter residential character than the larger Limassol city hotels – the Akamas location means the surrounding coastline is undeveloped rather than lined with competing hotels.
The distance from Larnaca (approximately 1.5 hours by road) is the practical trade-off for the secluded position. Guests flying into Paphos (PFO) are better placed – Anassa is around 45 minutes north. Book the Two Bedroom Suite With Pool directly on Booking.com as a confirmed category rather than requesting a pool suite as an upgrade at check-in.
AMARA
AMARA is a beachfront 5-star hotel in Limassol with two of the island's most-recognized dining rooms: Matsuhisa Limassol (Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's Japanese-Peruvian restaurant) and Ristorante Locatelli (a Giorgio Locatelli Italian outpost). The 1 Bedroom Cabana with Private Pool and 2 Bedroom Cabana with Private Pool are the private pool categories: each cabana has its own private pool on a furnished beachfront patio with a direct path to the sea. The pool is exclusive to the cabana's guests and is not accessible from the resort's main pool areas.
The seafront setting is the defining advantage over the inland-positioned Parklane. The cabana format – ground-floor, garden-surrounded, with patio and pool – sits apart from the main hotel building and functions more like a standalone unit than a hotel room. The two-bedroom option gives the format a villa-like footprint suitable for families or couples who want separate sleeping areas.
AMARA has been one of Limassol's most awarded luxury hotels since opening and rates highly on Booking.com with particular strength in location and facilities. The hotel sits at Agios Tychon, east of central Limassol – well positioned for the coastal road and within 20 minutes of the city centre. Book the cabana category directly on Booking.com to confirm the private pool assignment at reservation.
Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa
Parklane is a Marriott Luxury Collection resort in Pyrgos, east of Limassol, with 20 Park Villas as its private pool category. The 1 Bedroom Park Villa with Private Pool is the entry configuration: a semi-detached villa within the resort's landscaped grounds, with its own private pool, sophisticated interiors, and a dedicated butler included in the villa rate. Two- and three-bedroom configurations are available for families or groups. All 20 Park Villas sit within the resort grounds rather than on the beachfront – the distance from the sea is around 100 metres, and the private beach is a short walk.
The Luxury Collection positioning means the property operates to Marriott's highest brand standards, with the practical benefit that the villa rate earns and redeems Marriott Bonvoy points. For frequent Marriott stayers, the effective cost per night after points accumulation can be meaningfully lower than the rack rate. The resort received positive coverage from Condé Nast and Michelin Guide as a recommended property in Cyprus.
The Pyrgos location sits between Limassol and the motorway east to Larnaca, making it the most convenient airport connection of the three Limassol properties on this list. With 20 Park Villas, availability is more consistent than at the boutique properties above – last-minute bookings are feasible outside July and August.
Columbia Beach Resort
Columbia Beach Resort occupies Pissouri Bay, a sheltered cove between Limassol and Paphos on Cyprus's southwest coast. The Executive Suite Sea View Eagle's Nest with Private Pool sits on a separate hillside above the main resort: a 60 sqm suite with panoramic views across the entire bay, its own private pool on the terrace, and a position apart from the main hotel buildings that gives it a more secluded character than the sea-level rooms below. Pissouri Bay is calm and swimmable, and the lagoon-style resort pool (nearly 80 metres) is one of the largest in Cyprus.
The Eagle's Nest suite is the single confirmed private pool category at Columbia Beach, which means it books out during peak summer weeks faster than the larger multi-villa properties. The hillside position gives the best views of the bay but involves some walking (or use of a hotel shuttle) to reach the beach and main resort facilities. At around €350–€500/night, the Eagle's Nest is the most accessible private pool villa option in Cyprus at this standard.
Pissouri itself is a quiet village away from the main resort hotel corridors of Limassol and Paphos – guests who want a lower-energy beach base rather than a city-adjacent resort tend to rate it highly. Book directly on Booking.com and specify the Eagle's Nest category to ensure the private pool suite is confirmed at reservation rather than treated as a room preference.
Almyra
Almyra is a Design Hotels member property in Paphos, positioned directly next to Paphos Harbour and the Tomb of the Kings archaeological site. The Aethon Room with Private Pool and Junior Suite with Private Pool are the private pool categories: rooms with their own pool on a terrace or garden, at entry-level pricing compared with the other hotels on this list. The hotel has five freshwater pools on-site including an adults-only pool and an indoor pool, which gives significant on-property amenity alongside the private pool rooms.
The Paphos location is the main differentiator: Almyra is the only private pool villa hotel on this list within walking distance of the Paphos Harbour, the Old Town, and the archeological sites that are the reason many guests visit Cyprus at all. The design-forward interiors – Almyra is one of Cyprus's recognized boutique-luxury hotels – and the proximity to town give it a different character from the resort-focused properties in Limassol or the seclusion of Anassa.
The overall Booking.com score is lower than the other hotels on this list, which reflects the broader property rather than the private pool rooms specifically. Value for money rates below the other categories, though the entry price point for a confirmed private pool in Paphos remains lower than at AMARA or Anassa. Paphos (PFO) airport is approximately 15 minutes away.
When to go
For Greek island alternatives on the same Mediterranean circuit, Santorini has caldera infinity pool villas and Mykonos offers boutique villa properties. Ibiza and Mallorca run the same April–October season. Full guide at the private pool villas hub.
April through June and September through October are the best months for Cyprus private pool villas: sea temperatures reach 22–26°C, air temperatures hold at 22–30°C, and rates are below the July–August peak. Summer (July–August) brings temperatures up to 38°C, which makes the private pool the primary amenity of the stay – and drives the highest rates and tightest availability, particularly at Anassa and the Columbia Beach Eagle's Nest. The winter months (November–March) see significant rate reductions across all five properties; the southern coast (Limassol, Pissouri, Paphos) stays mild at 15–20°C with minimal rain. Paphos airport (PFO) serves the western properties (Anassa, Almyra, Columbia Beach) at around 15–45 minutes; Larnaca (LCA) is closer to Limassol (AMARA, Parklane) at approximately 45–60 minutes by road.
