Ibiza Gran Hotel in Ibiza Town is the fourth confirmed property and has the deepest pool-suite menu on the island after Six Senses – five categories. It sits below rather than in the table because it does not list on Booking.com, so it cannot carry the same three-way price comparison. Its section is further down.
Which Ibiza private pool villa should you book?
Book Can Lluc. It is the highest-rated property on the island in this guide, the entry rate is less than half of 7Pines, and the Deluxe suite-villa is a genuine standalone unit – two bedrooms, a fireplace, a kitchen and a heated 15 m² pool in its own walled patio. Check Can Lluc availability first – it is a handful of units on a working finca, and it closes for winter.
If you want the sea rather than the countryside, book 7Pines on the west cliffs. If you are traveling as a group of six or more, book a residence at Six Senses Ibiza – nothing else on the island offers three to ten bedrooms around one private pool. And if you want to walk out into Ibiza Town at night, Ibiza Gran Hotel is the only confirmed pool suite that lets you.

Six Senses Ibiza
Six Senses sits on 20 acres at Cala Xarraca bay near Portinatx, on the northern tip of the island – about as far from Playa d'en Bossa as Ibiza geography allows. It was the first BREEAM-certified resort in the Balearics.
The private pool inventory here is not a suite category, it is a whole class of accommodation: 19 residences and 2 mansions, each with its own pool, alongside 137 units in total. The suites and cave suites do not have private pools.
The entry point is the Three-Bedroom Residence – 257 m² across split levels, sleeping six, with a private 139 m² garden and pool area, three ensuite bedrooms, a full kitchen, a private entrance and parking for two cars.
From there it scales further than anywhere else on this list: four, five and seven-bedroom residences (the seven-bedroom has a private 383 m² garden and sleeps 14), a five-bedroom mansion called The Cliffhanger with a 15 m infinity pool, and a ten-bedroom mansion.
Two practical notes. The residences are quoted on request rather than published – the resort's cheapest double room runs around €690 a night, and a residence is a different order of price. And the north tip is a 35–40 minute drive from the airport.

7Pines Resort Ibiza
7Pines is a Destination by Hyatt resort built down a cliff on the west coast between Cala Conta and Cala Codolar, with Es Vedrà – the limestone monolith that appears on half the postcards of this island – sitting offshore in the view.
It runs 185 suites across 17 categories in three zones. The private pools are all in the Ibicenco Village, the whitewashed ground-level houses, in three grades: the Garden Pool Suite, the larger Garden Pool Suite Deluxe, and the Garden Pool Suite 2-Bedroom with two ensuite bedrooms and a guest bathroom.
All three put the pool in the suite's own walled garden off a covered terrace, with a house bar inside. Nothing in the Laguna or Cliff zones has a private pool, so the category name is what you are buying.
Above them sit Grand Villas Aurora and Alba – four-bedroom standalone houses with a private infinity pool and whirlpool, which work for groups of six to eight who still want resort service.
The airport is about 20 minutes away and the resort runs a shuttle into Ibiza Town. Rates open around €1,200 in peak season, the highest entry on this list.

Can Lluc
Can Lluc is a Beyond Green-certified agritourism estate built around a 300-year-old farmhouse on the Sant Rafel to Santa Agnès road, in the valley between Sant Rafel and Sant Antoni. It is the highest-rated property in this guide on Booking.com.
The Deluxe suite-villa with pool is the most genuinely villa-like unit on the island at this price. It has two bedrooms with king beds, a living room with a fireplace, a full kitchen, a bathroom with a jacuzzi, and a heated 15 m² private pool in its own patio with an outdoor shower and garden.
That pool is entirely separate from the estate's shared pool. No other guests reach it.
What you give up is the coast. The nearest beaches are a drive, Ibiza Town is about 20 minutes, and Sant Rafel itself is a quiet crossroads village. What you get back is a rate around €500 – less than half of 7Pines – for more private square meters.

Ibiza Gran Hotel
This is the one in town. Ibiza Gran Hotel is a 5-star Grand Luxe property on the Paseo Juan Carlos I at Marina Botafoch, 187 loft-style suites facing the water toward the illuminated walls of Dalt Vila, with the Casino de Ibiza inside it and La Gaia, Zuma and Cipriani among its restaurants.
It also has five confirmed private-pool categories – more than any property here except Six Senses:
- Superior Pool Suite – a 40 m² terrace with a 10 m² private infinity pool facing Dalt Vila
- Pool Suite – sun terrace with private pool, city views
- Gran Suite – 120 m², private pool and hydromassage on a terrace-solarium
- Gran Suite Dalt Vila – bedroom, living room, terrace and a heated infinity pool
- Ibiza Luxury Gran Suite – 370 m², three bedrooms, heated hydro-massage pool and a private sun deck over the sea toward Formentera
The catch is booking. Ibiza Gran Hotel does not list on Booking.com – it is one of the few independent 5-stars on the island that stays off it – so the price comparison you can run on the three hotels above is not available here. It sells direct and through Expedia. It also runs a season rather than a year: the 2026 season opened on 22 April.
Nothing else on this list is walkable to a restaurant, a club and a UNESCO old town. Pacha is minutes away on foot.
Book this one if you want a private pool and a city at the same time. Check Ibiza Gran Hotel rates on Expedia – the Superior Pool Suite runs around €900 a night in season and there are not many of them.
On Ibiza, "suite with pool" and "suite with hot tub" are marketed almost identically, and several well-known island hotels advertise private pools that turn out to be terrace whirlpools on inspection. Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, for example, describes "select suites" with private plunge pools but does not name the category publicly, so it is not listed here. Book a category whose own page shows the pool, not a hotel whose homepage mentions one.
Why the pools are all in the quiet parts of the island
Look at where these four actually are: the north tip, the west cliffs, the rural interior and the marina in town. None of them is in Playa d'en Bossa or San Antonio, the two places most first-time visitors picture when they picture Ibiza.
That is not an accident of this list. A private pool needs land and separation – a walled garden, a cliff terrace, a finca patio – and the club strips have neither. The land there went to volume.
The practical consequence is that a private pool stay on Ibiza comes with a car. Can Lluc is 20 minutes from town, 7Pines about the same to the airport, Six Senses closer to 40 minutes. Only Ibiza Gran Hotel escapes that, which is most of its argument.
If you want both, the usual pattern works: rural or coastal pool base, taxis in for the nights you want them.
When to go
June and September are the best months. Air temperatures reach 28–30°C, the sea holds at 24–26°C, and rates drop 20–40% from the August peak while venues still run at full capacity.
July and August are the island at maximum – highest pool suite rates of the year, fullest beaches, and early arrival needed for a lounger anywhere near the water.
May is cooler and some venues have not opened. October winds down fast: most beach clubs close after the first week, and Can Lluc closes for winter around mid-month. 7Pines and Ibiza Gran Hotel run later into autumn, though Ibiza Gran Hotel does not open until late April.
Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is 7 km from Ibiza Town, with direct summer flights from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Dublin, about 2 hours 20 minutes from the UK.
For the other Balearics, Mallorca has more variety of landscape and Menorca is the quiet one. On the mainland, Costa Brava trades island nightlife for Empordà countryside. Further east, Santorini and Mykonos run the same season at higher rates.
