The Costa Brava's private hotel pools aren't on the coves – they're in the fields behind them. Seafront hotels here trade on the view and share a pool. The rooms with a pool of their own sit inland, on an Empordà farm estate and two golf resorts. Mas de Torrent's Residence Suite is the one to book: a two-bedroom house with an 8×4 m private pool, a short drive from Pals and Begur.

Which Costa Brava private pool villa should you book?
Count the bedrooms you need. That decides it faster than anything else here.
For a couple or one family, book Mas de Torrent's Residence Suite. Two bedrooms, a garden, a private pool and a Relais & Châteaux hotel on the doorstep. Check Mas de Torrent availability.
For a big group near the sea, book La Costa's villa in Pals. It sleeps up to ten.

We found no private-pool option on the sand. Coastal hotels in Begur, Tossa and S'Agaró sell sea views and a shared pool. If you need both, pick La Costa and drive to the beach.
Mas de Torrent Hotel and Spa
The couples' booking.
Mas de Torrent is an 18th-century Catalan farmhouse, now a Relais & Châteaux hotel, in the countryside of the Baix Empordà. Pals, Begur and the Begur coves are all a short drive away.
Only one room here has its own pool. That's the Residence Suite.
It's a house, not a suite. At 145 m², it has:
- A master bedroom with a king bed, plus a second bedroom with a queen
- Three bathrooms, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen
- A garden with a veranda, a private 8×4 m heated pool and its own garage
Everything else at Mas de Torrent shares the hotel's pools and spa. So you get a private house, with a Relais & Châteaux restaurant and spa on the same estate.
One suite means one booking at a time.

Camiral Golf and Wellness Luxury Villa
The golfers' booking.
Camiral, near Girona, is the golf resort formerly known as PGA Catalunya. It now trades as Camiral, a Quinta do Lago Resort, with two championship courses and a wellness center.
The villa is listed on Booking.com as its own property. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a full kitchen. Outside is a terrace for eating out, a private garden and an infinity pool for the villa alone.
This is the villa for a group that wants to play golf every day. It's also the farthest from the sea, about half an hour's drive to the coast.
Girona-Costa Brava Airport (GRO) is about 11 km away. That's the shortest airport run on this page.

La Costa Golf and Beach Resort
The big-family booking – and the closest to the beach.
La Costa is a golf-and-beach resort in Pals. Its Villa with Private Pool is a standalone chalet at the entrance to Golf de Pals, near Platja de Pals.
It sleeps eight to ten. There are four double rooms, each with a terrace. Two open straight onto the pool, and two face the garden. A living room, a kitchen-dining room, a convertible room and two bathrooms complete it.
The pool is private to the chalet. Resort perks come on top:
- Reduced green fees and priority tee times at Golf de Pals
- The hotel's pool, gym, sauna and massages during its season
That season matters. The hotel is open from mid-March to early November in 2026. The chalets stay open all year, but with limited services outside those dates.

Why there's nothing on the coast
The Costa Brava's coast is cliffs, coves and old fishing towns. Seafront hotels in Begur, Tossa de Mar and S'Agaró have the views, but rarely a pool per room.
Take Tossa's Gran Hotel Reymar. It's right on the beach and sells a "Villa" category. That villa shares the hotel's pool.
Holiday houses with pools are everywhere on the coast. They're private rentals rather than hotels, so they're outside this guide.
If you can book only one, book Mas de Torrent's Residence Suite. It's the easiest recommendation on this page.
For private pools on a Spanish island instead, see Mallorca and Ibiza. Further south on the mainland, there's the Costa del Sol. Every destination is on the private pool villas hub.
When to go
Late May, June and September are the best months. The sea is warm enough to swim, the pool is warm enough to use, and the roads to the coves are quiet.
July and August are peak. Rates climb and the beach car parks in Begur and Pals fill early. An inland pool is the best way to dodge the crowds.
October to April is quiet and green, and much cooler. Mas de Torrent's heated pool is the one here built for the shoulder months.
Girona-Costa Brava (GRO) is the nearest airport to all three. Barcelona (BCN) has far more flights and is about 90 minutes from Pals by car.
