With kids, book Beaches Negril, which reopened in December 2025 and has its own water park. As a couple, book Couples Swept Away, with a 10-acre sports complex beside the sand.

Those are entry-level nightly rates for two, all-inclusive, outside the December–April peak. All four sit directly on Seven Mile Beach and have reopened since the hurricane – a short list on purpose. The beachfront resorts hub runs the same test across the Caribbean.
Which Negril beachfront resort should you book?
With children, book Beaches Negril. It's the family resort on the beach, with Pirates Island Waterpark and a supervised kids' camp. Check Beaches Negril availability early – December through April is peak season.
As a couple, book Couples Swept Away for sport and space, or Sandals Negril for the swim-up suites. Families who want a rebuilt resort can book Royalton Negril.

Seven Mile Beach or the cliffs?
For sand, Seven Mile Beach. Caribbean Journal (March 2026) says offshore reefs shield the shore, so it rarely sees rough surf, and the seabed slopes gently enough to wade far out. The sand is soft and white. It's also a little shorter than seven miles.
For views, the West End. Caribbean Journal describes Negril's western cliffs, with boutique hotels, ladders into the sea and cliff jumping at Rick's Café. There's no beach there, so none of those hotels is on this list.
Older Negril guides predate Hurricane Melissa. Resorts reopened in stages between December 2025 and August 2026, and several Montego Bay resorts took longer. Check a resort's status before you book from any list.
The resorts
Beaches Negril
The family booking. Beaches Negril sits on Seven Mile Beach and reopened on December 6, 2025 – Sandals' chairman told TravelPulse the Negril resorts saw little hurricane damage.
Beaches lists two pools, nine restaurants and seven bars. The draw is Pirates Island Waterpark, with slides and a lazy river, plus a supervised kids' camp for ages 0 to 17, per Expedia.

Couples Swept Away
The active couples' booking. Couples Swept Away sits on 19 acres of Seven Mile Beach, with 312 suites, 7 restaurants, 8 bars and 3 pools. Its 10-acre sports and fitness complex is what the resort calls the island's largest.
It's adults-only, with no guests under 18, and it is couples-only, as all four Couples resorts are.

Sandals Negril
The swim-up booking. Sandals Negril sits directly on Seven Mile Beach. Sandals is adults-only (18 and over) and couples-first, and it prices rooms for two adults.
It has eight restaurants and five bars, including two swim-up bars, plus four pools. The beachfront swim-up suites open onto a lagoon pool; the SkyPool Butler Suites have private elevated pools facing the sea.

Royalton Negril
The rebuilt one. Royalton Negril fully closed after the hurricane and reopened on August 25, 2026, per Travel Market Report. Royalton says guests step directly onto Seven Mile Beach.
There are nine restaurants, seven bars, a splash park and the Clubhouse Kids Club for ages 4 to 12. Diamond Club guests get their own beach area and pools.
