Rhodes has a stronger swim-up room scene than most Greek islands – a mix of adults-only boutique resorts, luxury all-inclusive properties with Aegean views, and family-friendly lagoon hotels. The island is long, so location matters: Ixia is closest to the airport; Lindos and Kiotari sit 60–75 minutes south but offer the best scenery. This guide gives you the exact room to book, which area suits your trip, and what to pay in 2026.

Casa Cook Rhodes
The most distinctive swim-up property on Rhodes. The Deluxe Swim-Up Double Room at Casa Cook shares a long, turquoise pool that runs between all the rooms – wooden decks extend over the water, giving a connected, flowing feel rather than individual pool pods. Adults-only throughout with a bohemian-minimalist aesthetic that makes it feel more like a design hotel than a Greek resort. The breakfast-only board means you'll spend on food, but the room quality is exceptional.
Ella Helea
The closest confirmed swim-up all-inclusive to Rhodes Airport. Ella Helea in Kallithea has multiple swim-up categories across price points – the Junior Suite with Pool View & Sharing Pool (Booking.com lists it explicitly as "Sharing Pool") is the clearest shared-pool option, with a terrace opening onto a communal pool. The Deluxe Room with Swim Up Pool is the entry-level swim-up at €490/night AI. Six pools in total across the resort, private beach and five restaurants make this one of the larger resort set-ups in northern Rhodes. Kallithea is 14 km from the airport – the most convenient transfer of any confirmed swim-up hotel on the island.
Atlantica Dreams Resort
The best family all-inclusive swim-up option on Rhodes, at the far south of the island. The Double Room Swim Up Inland View pools are designed with irregular borders to resemble natural lagoons rather than rectangular pools – a deliberate design touch that softens the resort feel. The furthest from the airport at 80 minutes, but Gennadi is one of the most scenic and uncrowded parts of Rhodes.
When to go
May, June and September are the best months – warm sea (24–27°C), far fewer crowds than July and August, and prices noticeably lower. July and August are peak: busiest, hottest and most expensive, with swim-up rooms booking out early. October is still swimmable and excellent value, though some smaller resorts close from late October. One practical note: the island is 80 km long – check transfer time carefully before booking, as some southern properties (Gennadi, Kiotari) are 75–80 minutes from the airport.
