Which Majorca swim-up hotel should you book?
For a couple with the budget, book Pure Salt Port Adriano. It's adults-only, it sits above a superyacht marina redesigned by Philippe Starck, and the Junior Suite Swim Up Renaissance is around 60 m² with submerged loungers and step-in access to a shared river-shape pool from your own terrace. Check Pure Salt availability before comparing – it's the most expensive room here and the swim-up categories are a small share of the hotel, so they go first in June and July.
If you'd rather trade the marina for quiet, book Protur Biomar on the east coast – its heated river pool and included spa circuit make it the strongest shoulder-season booking on the island. Traveling with kids? Book Zafiro Palace Palmanova, the only swim-up room here that sleeps two adults and two children on all-inclusive board. On a budget, book Reverence Mare, adults-only and beachfront at roughly a third of the Pure Salt rate. Pure Salt Port Adriano
Pure Salt is a 5-star adults-only hotel above Port Adriano, the superyacht marina on the southwest coast that Philippe Starck redesigned – which is the actual view from the terrace, and the reason the rate sits where it does.
The room to book is the Junior Suite Swim Up Renaissance: roughly 60 m², sleeping two, with a private terrace that steps directly into a shared river-shape pool fitted with submerged loungers. Inside, the detail people remember is a whirlpool bath with a TV built into it. The pool is communal along the run of terraces, not a plunge pool of your own.
Two things to plan around. It's B&B or half-board, never all-inclusive, so the marina restaurants below become part of the budget rather than an optional extra – which suits people who wanted to eat out anyway. And there's no beach at the door; the nearest sand is a short drive.

Protur Biomar Sensatori Resort
Protur Biomar sits at Sa Coma on the quieter east coast, and it's the best shoulder-season booking in this guide for one specific reason. Its Junior Suite Swim-Up – also sold as the Junior Suite Premium Swim-Up – is 45 m² with a furnished teak terrace running straight into the resort's shared river pool, and that pool is heated to around 26°C in low season using 100% renewable energy. April and May work here in a way they don't at an unheated resort.
The resort's own Premium All Inclusive board runs 24 hours – show-cooking buffets, four themed restaurants, and drinks around the clock – so factor that into the rate before comparing it against Pure Salt's B&B.
The second reason is the spa. One hydrothermal spa-circuit visit per person per night is built into the room rate, not sold as an add-on at check-in – across a week that's a meaningful part of what you're paying for.
Get the room name right. Protur also sells a Junior Suite Premium Whirlpool, which is a different product: a semi-private rooftop infinity pool with an integrated whirlpool rather than a terrace on the river pool. Both are good rooms. Only one of them is a swim-up.

Zafiro Palace Palmanova
This is the family pick, and it's the only room in this guide with the occupancy to back that up: the Zafiro Club Junior Suite Swim Up takes two adults plus two children. It's a ground-floor suite with a garden terrace and a Bali bed, opening onto the shared Zafiro Club pool – communal among Zafiro Club guests rather than private to your suite.
The Zafiro Club tier is where the value sits. It adds pool and bar access, a concierge, late checkout, and two 25-minute massages per room – the massages are 18+ only, which is a detail worth knowing before you promise anything to a teenager.
Position is the other draw: under a mile from two beaches, Playa de Palmanova and Platja de San Matias, and roughly 20 minutes from Palma Airport. The trade is atmosphere. Palmanova is busy package-holiday territory in July and August, and that's the character of the area rather than a fault of the hotel.

Reverence Mare Hotel
Reverence Mare is the value play, and it has the most swim-up water of any hotel here. The property runs seven pools: six outdoors, five of them with swim-up areas fitted with Balinese beds and swim-up hammocks and loungers, plus a seventh rooftop Sky Lounge pool reserved for Privilege rooms.
What makes it a safe booking is the room chart. Reverence Mare lists a dedicated "Swim Up" tier alongside its Comfort, Privilege and Suite categories – so the swim-up room is a real category here, not a marketing word attached to a standard room that happens to face a pool. That distinction catches people out constantly at this price point.
It's adults-only and beachfront at Palma Nova, directly opposite a Blue Flag beach, with free spa access included. It's a 4-star rather than a palace-tier resort, and at around €160 it prices accordingly. Book this one if you want adults-only calm on the southwest coast without Pure Salt's rate. Zafiro Palace Alcúdia
The north-coast option, at the top of the Zafiro Palace range in Port d'Alcúdia. The category you want is the Junior Swim Up Suite: ground floor, garden terrace, with direct access to one of several ground-floor shared pools serving the suites. Terrace-to-water, shared with the neighboring suites.
Read that name carefully, because Zafiro lists a second, similarly named category at this hotel – the Junior Suite Private Pool – and it is not the same room. One opens onto shared water, the other doesn't, and they're priced differently. Search results and third-party listings blur the two constantly.
Port d'Alcúdia is around 55 minutes from Palma Airport, noticeably further than the southwest cluster, and the payoff is a long sandy bay with a quieter family feel than Palmanova in peak season. Two hotels here sell near-identical room names where only one version is a swim-up. At Zafiro Palace Alcúdia, the Junior Swim Up Suite opens onto shared water and the Junior Suite Private Pool does not. At Protur Biomar, the Junior Suite Swim-Up is the river-pool room and the Junior Suite Premium Whirlpool is a rooftop product. Confirm the exact category name on the booking page, not the hotel.
Southwest, east or north: pick the coast first
The map does most of the work on this island. Three of these five hotels sit within about 20 to 30 minutes of Palma Airport – Pure Salt at Port Adriano, Zafiro Palace Palmanova and Reverence Mare in Palma Nova, effectively neighbors. Book any of them and you're in the same stretch of southwest coast: short transfers, dense resort infrastructure, and the island's busiest package-holiday summer.
The other two are deliberate escapes from that. Sa Coma on the east coast runs roughly 50 minutes out and trades nightlife for calm, which is why Protur Biomar reads as a couples hotel. Port d'Alcúdia in the north is about 55 minutes and buys a long sandy bay instead of a cove.
Board type then splits them again, and all-inclusive isn't the default here. The two Zafiro Palace resorts and Protur Biomar are the all-inclusive picks. Pure Salt is firmly B&B or half-board, which is a feature at Port Adriano, where the marina restaurants are the point. Check the board basis before you compare two rates, because a €490 room without dinner and a €185 room with everything aren't measuring the same thing.
One last distinction: shared swim-up water and a private pool are different products at different prices. When to go
May, June and September are the value windows. Temperatures reach 25–28°C, the sea is warm, and swim-up rates drop meaningfully against the July–August peak. September is the pick for couples, once the school-holiday rush clears but before conditions turn.
Protur Biomar extends the season at the front end. Its river pool is heated to around 26°C in low season, so April and early May are genuinely usable there in a way they aren't at the unheated southwest resorts.
July and August are the busiest and most expensive, and Palmanova and Palma Nova feel it most – both are lively package-holiday resorts at peak. If those are your dates, book the room before the flight: swim-up categories are a small slice of every hotel here, and the family-occupancy suite at Zafiro Palace Palmanova is the single scarcest room in this guide.
