Pure Salt Port Adriano
The most distinctive swim-up option on the island. This 5-star adults-only hotel sits above Port Adriano, the superyacht harbor redesigned by Philippe Starck on the south-west coast. Both the Swim Up Sea View (46 m²) and the larger Junior Suite Swim Up Renaissance open onto a private terrace with submerged sun loungers and direct pool access, sea and marina views included. A swim-up jacuzzi option is available in the Renaissance category.
Rates are B&B or half-board – not all-inclusive – which suits guests who want to eat in the marina village below. Book shoulder season (May–June or September) to avoid the July–August price spike.
Protur Biomar Sensatori Resort
A 5-star in Sa Coma on the quieter east coast, 300 m from the beach and at the top of TUI's Sensatori premium tier. The Junior Suite Swim-up (45 m²) has a furnished teak terrace leading directly into a river-style pool, heated to around 26 °C in low season. An upgraded version with a private whirlpool is also available.
The real differentiator: one hydro-thermal spa circuit session per person per night is built into the room rate – not the usual optional add-on. Book early for May–June when the heated pool is the main draw and prices are significantly below peak.
Zafiro Palace Palmanova
The family all-inclusive pick in Palma Nova. The Zafiro Club Junior Suite Swim Up (66 m²) has direct access to the exclusive Zafiro Club pool and sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, making it the largest family swim-up room on this list. The resort's all-inclusive covers meals, drinks and the pirate ship splash zone for younger guests.
The Zafiro brand runs several Majorca hotels but Palmanova is the most convenient for families flying into Palma.
Reverence Mare Hotel – Adults Only
An adults-only 4-star in Palma Nova with six pools and swim-up rooms at the lowest price point on this list. The pool layout is the standout: six pools of different depths and temperatures, including sections with submerged loungers. Swim-up rooms (33 m²) open directly onto the pool terrace.
If you want adults-only calm in the south-west without paying Pure Salt prices – and don't need all-inclusive – this is the value play in Palma Nova.
When to go
July and August are the busiest and most expensive months – pools are full and Palma Nova in particular is lively. May–June and September are the best value windows: temperatures reach 25–28 °C, the sea is warm, and swim-up room rates drop 20–40% compared to peak. The Protur Biomar's heated pool extends the season from April. For couples, September is the pick – the island quietens after the school-holiday rush but conditions remain excellent.
